7/31/2008

The Fall EMT-Basic class co-sponsored by CCFR and the Technical College of the Lowcountry began on J uly 15th. After learning foundational material, students have now started to participate in “hands-on” skills. In this first module, the 8 students in the class have learned about obtaining vital signs and how to lift and move patients. The South Carolina EMT-B curriculum is 144 hours after which, students will be eligible to take the National Registry exam. This particular class is scheduled to test in December 2008.
