Station 18  responded to a shooting incident at 1283 Red Root Road Wednesday morning 18-August at 1127. A 26 year old male received a non-life threatening wound to the thigh during a domestic dispute. Sheriff’s Deputies secured the scene and Firefighter-Paramedics found the man in the yard. His bleeding was controlled and IV fluids administered at the scene. He was then transported to Colleton Medical Center for further treatment. The suspect was later apprehended by the Sheriff’s Offices in Colleton and Hampton Counties.  

Medic 18, Car 12, Car 110 and Car 116 responded. Captain Richard Sheffield served as Incident Commander.
