“C” Shift – Stabbing Incident

Run # 10-05041 - Stations 19 and 26 responded to a stabling incident at 1024 North Lemacks Street Saturday afternoon 11-Spetember at 1334. An adult male was found standing in the front yard with a stab wound to the left back. He had moderate bleeding. Firefighter-Paramedics from Medic 26 quickly controlled his bleeding and treated the man at the scene. He received bandaging, oxygen and IVs prior to transport to Colleton Medical Center. Medic 19 responded to treat the suspect who was tased by Law Enforcement Officers and insisted on transport to the hospital. He was also transported to Colleton Medical Center.  Both patients were in stable condition. Walterboro Public Safety and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene.

Medic 19, Medic 26, Battalion 1  and Car 12 responded. Chief McRoy served as Incident Commander.
