15/September/2013 – Shooting Incident – “B” shift

Incident # 13-05052 – A 16 year old boy received a gunshot wound to the right leg in an incident at 306 Green Pond Highway. It was reported at 13:55, Sunday afternoon 15-September. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation by Walterboro Public Safety Officers. The boy was found outside of the residence with an entrance and exit wound to the upper thigh. Firefighter-Paramedics treated him at the scene, then transported him in stable condition to Colleton Medical Center. Law Enforcement officials are continuing their investigation.

Medic 1, Battalion 1, Car 12 and Car 111 responded. Battalion Chief Ben Heape served as Incident Commander.
