08/June/2016 – Structure Fire – “C” Shift

Incident # 16-03557 – A residence at 409 Roadside Drive suffered substantial damage in an intentionally set fire that occurred before 08-June. The owner arrived at the rental property Wednesday afternoon at around 17:27, after a renter recently vacated the property. The doublewide mobile was unsecured. As the owner entered the building, they found the interior of the home had fire and smoke damage. They contacted the Sheriff’s Office, who called Fire-Rescue. Battalion 1 arrived to find the doublewide mobile with no exterior damage. Multiple points of origin were found inside the dwelling. All of the fires had burned out and did not spread. The home had no smoke present and no elevated temperatures. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
