11/October/2019 – School Bus MVC – “A” Shift

Incident # 19-07127 – A school bus and a van collided on Augusta Hwy (SC Hwy 61) near the intersection of Huckleberry Hill Ln Friday morning 11-October at 06:49. No one in the van was injured. Two adults, the bus driver and monitor, as well as two children requested to be transported to Colleton Medical Center for evaluation. Traffic on Augusta Hwy was blocked for a short period and down to one lane until the accident could be cleared. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Engine 9, Engine 36, Medic 19 and Battalion 1 responded. Captain Ethan Shieder served as Incident Commander.
