20/September/2020 – Structure Fire – “B” Shift

Incident # 20-06451 – Fire-Rescue units responded a structure fire in a vacant mobile home at 316 Country Ln Sunday afternoon 20-September at 17:47. Engine 26 arrived to find the singlewide mobile home attached to a one story structure well involved. Crews deployed multiple handlines to combat the fire. They were able to stop the spread of the fire to the south end of the structure and saved the adjacent attached structure. The north end of the building was a total loss and the roof collapsed. Units were on the scene for two and half hours. No one was currently living in the building and no injuries were reported. The fire appears to have started on the front pouch outside of the building. Fire-Rescue and the Sheriff’s Office are investigating the fire.

Engine 19, Engine 26, Tender 19, Tender 26, Medic 6, Car 101 and Car 116 responded. Captain Janet Laney served as Incident Commander.
