30-September-2020 – SUV vs Motorcycle MVC – “C” Shift

Incident # 20-06672 – An adult male was injured when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a SUV on Bells Hwy at Hilton Hall Road Wednesday afternoon 30-September at 15:08. The man was wearing a helmet but suffered a suspected head injury in the collision. The motorcycle received heavy damage in the accident. The driver of the SUV was not injured. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the man at the scene, then transported him emergent to the Trauma Center at MUSC in North Charleston. Both lanes of Bells Hwy were blocked for about 25 minutes. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Engine 26, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Captain Blaine Harrison served as Incident Commander.
