05/November/2020 - Structure Fire - "C" Shift

Incident # 20-07592 - A double wide mobile home suffered damage to the kitchen following a fire that started on the stove midday Thursday 05-November at 11:56. Engine 1 arrived at 289 Little Elbow Dr. to find moderate smoke conditions coming from the doublewide mobile home. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed one 1-3/4 handline and quickly extinguished the fire continuing it to the area of the stove and the cabinets above the stove. The remainder of the home received smoke damage, but most personal items and the remainder of the home were saved. No one was injured during the incident. The occupant was cooking when the fire occurred. He reportedly walked away from the stove and returned to find the fire.He alerted 9-1-1. 

Engine 1, Engine 8, Tender 1, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 27, Medic 1, Medic 18, Medic 26, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
