25/April.2021 - Fatal Shooting Incident - "C" Shift

Incident # 21-02895 - A 28 yr. old male was shot multiple times at a residence in the 1500 block of White Hall Road Sunday evening 25-April. 9-1-1 was notified of the incident at 22:43. Information from callers was not complete and the number of victims was not known. Two Fire-Rescue ambulances were dispatched. While responding, Battalion 1 and Medic 1 were flagged down in the 6000 block of Hendersonville Hwy. (US Hwy 17-A) at the Hendersonville Elementary School. The vehicle contained the sole victim from the incident on White Hall Road. Firefighter-Paramedics found the patient unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds. He was critically injured with diminished respirations. Crews quickly treated him at the scene, then began transporting him emergent to Colleton Medical Center in Fire-Rescue Medic 1. The patient went into cardiac arrest enroute. Resuscitative efforts, including advanced airway procedures and bleeding control were continued during transport to the hospital. The ED staff continued resuscitative efforts, but the man did not survive his injuries. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident. 

Engine 1, Medic 1, Medic 13, Battalion 1, Car 102, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
