Logistics

Colleton County Fire-Rescue's logistical support is supervised by Battalion Chief Marty Stallings.  The Logistics division is responsible for maintaining equipment on all apparatus.  In addition,  logistics is responsible for maintaining hydrostatic testing and flow testing on 291 self-contained breathing apparatus and 680 air cylinders.  The Logistics division distributes personal protective equipment to the more than three hundred Colleton County Fire-Rescue personnel.  The Logistics division also maintains the 11 sets of Holmatro automobile extrication tools, and the nearly 500 portable, mobile and base radios. 

New ambulances await their appropriate equipment to be placed into service.  A new ambulance requires roughly $32,000 of equipment and a new engine requires $54,000 of equipment.
