Stations 19, 26 and 27 responded to an over-turned vehicle with ejection on Can City Road just north of Tree Farm Road at 1630 Monday 27-October. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it failed to negotiate an "S" curve and flipped over. One unrestrained male occupant was ejected from the car. Two other persons in the vehicle were treated at the scene by the crews of Medic 19 and Medic 27 for minor injuries and transported to Colleton Medical Center. The ejected patient sustained possible injuries to his back and head. The Meducare Medical Helicopter was called to the scene to fly the man to the Trauma Center at MUSC. Meducare landed in a field near the scene.
 
The people are suspects in a possibly burglary that occurred on Mount Carmel Road near Can City Road. The homeowner arrived home to find the suspects removing items from his house. The suspects reported left the scene and were northbound on Can City Road with the homeowner following close behind. The suspects vehicle lost control in the "S" curve north of Tree Farm Road and overturned one time. 
Engine 26, Medic 19, Medic 27, Battalion 1 and Trucks 12 and 111 responded. Battalion Chief Richard Sheffield served as Incident Commander.
