	The SC Fire Academy 1152 – Basic Firefighter Course is in full swing at Station # 19. The group of 18 students from three counties learned about Portable Fire Extinguishers Wednesday evening. Students in the class are from Beaufort, Charleston and Colleton Counties. Several Colleton Firefighter Explorers are also enrolled in the course. Instructors Jim Still and Chuck Moyer covered the classroom portion which was followed by practical exercises with live fire evolutions.
