	County and City firefighters spent most of the day Saturday 29-August at Wal-mart performing a “Fill the boot” drive for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The annual event is in cooperation with the national telethon the MDA holds each year. Firefighters rotated out several times during the day, to allow each crew to have a turn collecting. All funds collected by both departments will be forwarded to the MDA office in Charleston during the telethon.
