Station 19 responded to an over-turned vehicle at the intersection of Jefferies Hwy and Dandridge Road Thursday morning 17-September at 0710. The two car accident tied up busy school traffic on Jefferies Hwy for about 30 minutes. The driver of the small pickup truck receive relatively minor injuries, but was unable to exit his pickup truck. Firefighters used an axe to remove the windshield and extricate the man. He and a companion were transported in Medic 19 for evaluation.

Engine 19, Medic 19, Truck 16 and Walterboro Public Safety Engine 3 responded. Lt. Joey Campbell served as Incident Commander.
