Stations 5, 17, 19 and 26 responded to a house fire at 312 Cottonwood Lane at 0835, Tuesday 29-September. On arrival Engine 19 reported the doublewide mobile home had already burned completely down and was no longer on fire. All responding units except Tender 26, Medic 19 and Battalion 1 were canceled. The homeowner had stopped by to check on the residence and found it had burned down during the night. The mobile home is located on a dead end dirt road, down a long driveway and was not easily visible. There was no power connected to the structure and due to some other suspicious findings, SLED’s Arson unit was called contacted and responded to the scene. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Engine 19, Engine 5, Tender 19, Tender 26, Tender 17, Medic 19 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
