	Station 19 responded to a shooting incident on Highland Ave near the intersection of Hampton Street at 1527 Monday 7-Dec. Sheriff’s Deputies located a stolen vehicle behind a closed business on Hampton Street and discovered a 78 year old female in the trunk. The woman had been shot twice. She was conscious and alert. Firefighter-Paramedics from Medic 19 treated her at the scene and transported her to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center. The Lifenet 3 medical helicopter was standing by the CMC Monday and flew the woman to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. The Colleton and Hampton County Sheriff’s Offices are investigating the incident.
