Station 15 held their annual Christmas Dinner
at the Station on Wednesday 9-Dec. Firefighter Jared Polk grilled steaks
for the crew. The evening was capped with Station Captain Matt Williams
and Fire Commission Chairman LaVern Polk awarding plaques to three
Firefighters who were retiring from service. Mr. Kenneth Capers is
retiring after 15 years of service, Firefighter Charles Polk is retiring
after 27 years of service, while Firefighter Don Sineath is retiring after
28 years of service. All reminisced about driving the old open cab Howe
Engine, especially during poor weather. |
