Colleton County Fire-Rescue

12/16/2009

Daniel Owens, President of Pro-poly, was in Walterboro 16-December. Pro-poly manufactured the last 16 Tenders purchased by Colleton County. The Tender body is constructed of Polyprene plastic and is a fully intergraded wetside Tender. The units are designed and constructed at the Pro-poly facility in Ocala Florida, then shipped to Rock Hill, SC where they are mounted on the County supplied chassis by Seagrave Fire Apparatus. Pro-poly is developing a product video and wanted to include Colleton County’s Fleet of Pro-poly Tenders. All sixteen units were assembled at the Lowcountry Regional Airport in Station 19’s response area. The sixteen Tenders represent just under half of Fire-Rescue’s Tender Fleet.

The units were filmed in several different active scenes and will be incorporated into the video. It will be shown at the upcoming FDIC conference in Indianapolis in April.
