Stations 4, 8, 15, 18, 26 and 27 responded to a structure fire at 1238 Indian Creek Drive at 12:43, Friday afternoon 19-March. Engine 4 arrived 4 minutes later to find heavy smoke showing from the doublewide mobile home with flames visible from the front window of the residence. Crews use a deck gun to knock down the flames and deployed two 1-3/4 handlines for an interior attack. Firefighters had the fire knocked down within 10 minutes, but were on the scene for 2 hours performing overhaul. All occupants were able to safely exit the structure. The cause is believed to have been electrical in nature. The American Red Cross is assisting the family. Engine 4, Engine 8, Engine 18, Engine 26, Tender 4, Tender 15, Tender 18, Medic 27 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander. |
