Stations 1, 4, 26 and 31 responded to a reported structure fire at 137 Joye Street Sunday evening 4-April at 2057. On arrival, Engine 4 found a fully involved motor home parked next to  a one story work shop. The homeowner advised there was power to the motor home. Firefighters isolated the power and used one 1-3/4 handline to extinguish the motor home and the siding on the workshop. A older model pickup truck parked nearby was also damaged. Units were on the scene for one hour. The motor home was completely destroyed, however firefighters were able to save the workshop which suffered damage to the siding and eves.

Engine 4, Engine 31, Tender 1, Tender 4, Tender 26, Medic 26 and Battalion 1 responded. Battalion Chief Richard Sheffield served as Incident Commander. Station 1 and Medic 26 responded in place of Station 18 units who were tied up assisting Station # 7 with a fire on Community Ave.
