	Colleton County Firefighters participated in the annual Relay for Life event at the High School Track Friday evening 14-May. Firefighter-EMT-I Roger Johnston coordinated Fire-Rescue’s participation which included multiple personnel. Fire-Rescue operated the concession stand for the participants, prepared food and operated the dunking booth. The event draws several thousand local participants  and raises funds for cancer research as part of the national campaign. Medic 19 and Medic 104 stood by until around 0200 Saturday morning until the crowd thinned out. Engine 19 also stood by for much of the evening, covering the spectacular fireworks display.
