Station # 1 responded to a shooting incident at 1014 Gadsden Loop at 2230, Tuesday night 8-June. The 30 year old female received a single gunshot wound to her left leg. She was found lying in the front yard of her residence. After Sheriff’s Deputies cleared the scene, Firefighter-Paramedics treated the woman for a non-life threatening injury. She was transported to Colleton Medical Center for further treatment. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 11 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
