We have received the following information regarding the funeral services for Columbia-Richland Firefighter Chance Zobel who suffered a line of duty death Saturday 13-November. The funeral will be held on Wednesday 17-November at Shandon Baptist Church located at 5250 Forest Drive in Columbia SC, 29206. The Funeral will start at 1:00 pm.  

The internment will follow immediately after the funeral service at Shady Grove United Methodist Church located at 1918 Shady Grover Road in Irmo, SC 29063.

Colleton County Fire-Rescue will be staffing one Engine and sending it to cover a Columbia-Richland Fire Station during the services to allow their personnel to attend the funeral. Any personnel wishing to travel to Columbia in a department vehicle for the funeral, please call Headquarters so we can get a head count.
