“B” Shift – Medical Emergency with Air Evacuation

Incident # 10-06393 - Stations 6, 8 and 25 responded to a life threatening medical emergency in the 2200 block of Whitehall Road Wednesday afternoon 24-November at 15:07. The patient who was in critical condition required specialty care at a Stroke Center. Medic 6 treated the man and requested a medical helicopter to responded. Omniflight-Charleston flew to the field behind Station # 25 about ½ mile from the residence, to meet the ambulance. The patient was flown to the Stroke Center at MUSC in Charleston.  

Engine 8, Engine 25, Medic 6, Car 12 and Car 16 responded. Captain Scott Feather served as Incident Commander.
