“B” Shift – Fatal Shooting Incident

Incident # 10-06446 - A Walterboro woman was fatally shot in her home Saturday evening. Several Paramedic Units responded to 704 Black Street 27-November at 21:49. Walterboro Public Safety Officers had already secured the scene prior to Fire-Rescue’s arrival. The victim was found without signs of life and was pronounced at the scene. The Coroner’s Office and WPS are investigating the death. This was the third shooting incident to occur in the past two days.

Medic 1, Battalion 1, Car 11 and Car 12 responded. Battalion Chief Ben Heape served as Incident Commander.
