10-08-2011 – Structure Fire – “A” Shift

Incident # 11-05449 – An early morning structure fire destroyed a small mobile home at 567 Bent Gate Lane. The fire was reported at 03:37, Saturday 08-October. Engine 17 arrived at the location to find the structure already on the ground. The singlewide mobile home had two attached sheds and was used as a storage building. A second nearby mobile home was endangered. Firefighters deployed two 1-3/4 handlines to protect the exposure and extinguish the fire. Water supply was conducted with Tenders. The building was supplied with electricity and the cause of the fire in still under investigation.
