	The Fire-Rescue Explorers celebrated their third year Tuesday evening at Station # 19. Captain Scott Feather, Captain Mike Rohaus and Battalion Chief Brent Dalton grilled burgers and hot dogs for the teens. The Sheriff’s Office Explorers were invited and several also attended. Instead of a training session, the two groups participated in a joint kickball game. No one kept score, but everyone had a great time. The Explorer Program is open to teens between the ages of 14 and 17. They learn about the fire and emergency medical service and can begin participating in SC Fire Academy training courses at age 16. They meet monthly at Station 19 on the second Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
