11/08/2011 - Medical First Responder Training

Station 15 personnel participated in the final night of a DOT Medical First Responder Course held at Station 15 in Islandton on Tuesday 08-November. The course was broken up over several training nights to accommodate different schedules. Personnel were evaluated on CPR, bleeding control, immobilization, splinting, the Lucas Device and airway management to name to few subjects. Firefighters reviewed the Medic 18 and equipment locations. All station members completed the training and will received County certification cards endorsed by Dr. Mandel. The class was conducted by the Training Division.
