12/September/2013 – School Bus MVC – “B” shift          

Incident # 13-04992 – Four students received minor injuries after a School Bus and Tractor Trailer struck side mirrors in the 5100 block of Mount Carmel Road Thursday afternoon 12-September. The incident was reported at 15:54 after the mirrors on each vehicle collided breaking the two side mirrors on the school bus. The broken glass was thrown inside the bus through the open side windows and struck several occupants. Four students received minor cuts. Fire-Rescue transported the four students to Colleton Medical Center. The remaining uninjured students remained with school officials. Neither driver was hurt. Colleton County High School Principal Cliff Warren responded to the scene. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Engine 26, Medic 19, Medic 26 and Car 110 responded. Firefighter-EMT Ed Augustyn served as Incident Commander.
