22/September/2013 – Shooting Incident – “C” Shift

Incident # 13-05198 – A 22 year old Walterboro man was shot in the upper leg on Windwood Road Sunday evening. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. At 23:31, 9-1-1 Operators received a call from a resident at 212 Cumberland Street advising a man was at her door who had been shot. Sheriff’s Deputies cleared the scene and Medic 1’s crew began treating the man in the yard. He was moved to Medic 1 and then transported to Colleton Medical Center.  

Medic 1, Car 12 and Car 111 responded. Chief McRoy served as Incident Commander.
