The transition to 800 mhz radios is entering its preliminary implementation
period. The radios will not be deployed until the dispatch consoles
are in place. It is anticipated that this will occur in late October.
Personnel will keep their VHF pagers as a secondary means of notification.
ISO will credit the VHF pagers as a second circuit. Many personnel
have expressed interest in receiving dispatch notifications via text
messaging. This is a voluntary option for all personnel as normal text
messaging charges may apply to your mobile phone bill should you choose to
