06/February/2014 – Fatal Shooting Incident – “B” Shift

Incident # 14-00742 – A 65 year old Walterboro man was fatally shot at a residence at 203 Chaplin Street Thursday evening 06-February. Firefighter-Paramedics responded to the scene after Walterboro Public Safety Officers found the man on the porch at 20:52. Battalion 1 was not far from the scene on the initial dispatch and arrived three minutes later. WPS directed him to the front porch where the man was lying. He had no signs of life. The Coroner’s Office was notified and responded to the scene. Several Law Enforcement agencies are working the case.
