02/March/2015 – Stabbing Incident – “A” Shift

Incident # 15-01160 – An adult male was stabbed in the neck during an altercation in the 200 block of Thompson Street Monday afternoon 02-March. At 17:41, Walterboro Police and Fire-Rescue were sent to a residence in the 200 block of Thompson Street for two injured people. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived to find an adult male in the front yard with a screw driver impaled in his neck. The man, who was in stable condition, was treated at the scene before being transported to Colleton Medical Center. Another adult male was also transported to CMC with non-life threatening traumatic injuries. Walterboro Police is investigating the incident.

Medic 9, Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 12 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Dan Barb served as Incident Commander.
