06/April/2015 – MVC with Air Evac – “C” Shift

Incident # 15-01874 – A 23 year old male suffered multiple traumatic injuries after a motorcycle accident on Hendersonville Hwy. (US Hwy. 17-A) at Peniel Road Monday afternoon 06-April at 15:00. Witnesses stated the driver lost control of the motorcycle after he was passed by tractor trailer and then crashed in the roadway. Firefighter-Paramedics found the man ambulatory at the scene with multiple traumatic injuries and a head injury. He was treated before being transported to the helipad at Colleton Medical Center. Medic 1 rapidly transported the man to meet with LifeNet 4 who flew the patient to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Engine 1, Medic 1, Car 105 and Car 110 responded. Captain Brian Rowe served as Incident Commander.
