06/July/2015 – Fatal Auto Pedestrian Accident – “A” Shift

Incident # 15-03791 - An adult male died after being struck by a vehicle in the 100 block of Cross Swamp Road Monday morning 06-July. Fire-Rescue was notified of the incident at 09:38 after someone spotted the man unconscious in the ditch. Firefighter-Paramedics arrived minutes later to find the man deceased from multiple traumatic injuries. Evidence at the scene indicated the man had been struck by a vehicle and possibly been there most of the night. The vehicle that struck the man left the scene. Cross Swamp Road in the area of the accident was closed for two hours while Law Enforcement and the Coroner’s Office conducted an investigation.
