Colleton County sent units and personnel to Columbia and Georgetown to assist those counties through a SC Firefighter Mobilization request. This was the second and third deployment related to the massive flooding that occurred in the State during the past week. Tender 19 was assigned to Georgetown County Fire-EMS for three days, while Tender 27 was deployed to Columbia-Richland County Fire Dept for three days. The two counties were great hosts and Colleton County was honored to have assisted them in their recovery efforts.
