     24/September/2016 – High Speed MVC – “C” Shift Incident # 16-06293 – Three adults suffered multiple, 
	non-life threatening traumatic injuries in a single car high speed MVC on 
	Interstate 95 near the 62 mile marker southbound. The accident occurred 
	Saturday afternoon 24-September at 15:03. The southbound small SUV lost 
	control on a straight section of highway and roll over six times receiving 
	heavy damage. All occupants were wearing seatbelts and were able to exit the 
	vehicle on their own. Firefighter-Paramedics treated the injured at the 
	scene, then transported all six people to Colleton Medical Center in 
	Walterboro. Traffic in the area of the accident was down to one lane for 
	over an hour until the vehicle could be cleared. The SC Highway Patrol is 
	investigating the accident. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office assisted 
	with traffic control.
	 Engine 27, Battalion 1, Medic 26 and Car 12 responded. 
	Firefighter-EMT Matt Smart served as Incident Commander.   |
