20/October/2016 – Stabbing Incident – “B” shift

Incident # 16-06905 – Two people were injured in an altercation at 46 Cumberland Street Thursday evening 20-October at 22:21. Firefighter-Paramedics treated a 51 year old female for a laceration to the hand. She was transported to Colleton Medical Center in Medic 19. Crewmembers from Medic 1 treated a 21 year old male for a stab wound to the chest. He was transported emergent to the Trauma Center at Trident Medical in Summerville. The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.

Medic 1, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 12 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
