10/December/2016 – Structure Fire – “B” Shift

Incident # 16-08117 – Firefighters saved a residential structure at 10685 Green Pond Hwy. Saturday morning 10-December. At 15:51 Fire-Rescue responded to a report of smoke coming the home at this location. Engine 6 arrived to find heavy smoke conditions coming from the two story dwelling. Crews deployed one 1-3/4 handline and made access through a scuttle hatch in the garage. The fire was contained to the attic. Other firefighters deployed salvage covers inside the home to protect furniture and belongings in the rooms below the fire. No injuries were reported during the incident. The cause of the fire was electrical in nature.

Engine 2, Engine 6,  Tender 1, Tender 2, Tender 6, Medic 6, Battalion 1, Car 105, Car 107, Car 111 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
