18/February/2017 – Camper Fire – “C” Shift

Incident # 17-01088 – A camper, which was being used as a residence, was destroyed in a midday fire at 58 LaFrance Court off of Hiers Corner Road Saturday afternoon 18-February at 13:54. The camper was well involved when Engine 26 arrived. Flames threatened a nearby residence and two vehicles. Firefighter-Paramedics deployed one 1-3/4 handline, quickly knocking down the flames. The camper was heavily damaged and everything inside was lost. The occupants dog, who was inside the camper, also perished. Units were on the scene for close to an hour.

Engine 26, Medic 26, Car 27 and Car 109 responded. Battalion Chief Brent Dalton served as Incident Commander.
