08/March/2017 – High Speed MVC – “C” Shift

Incident # 17-01546 – A single vehicle accident injured three adult males Wednesday morning 08-March at 09:38. The vehicle was fleeing Law Enforcement after a reported bank robbery in Bamberg County. When the car reached the 11100 block of Augusta Hwy., just west of Sidneys Road (Grubers Crossroads) the driver lost control, left the roadway and flipped over several times. All three occupants received injuries. The patients were transported to Colleton Medical Center. Two were later transferred to the Trauma Center at Trident  Medical for further treatment.

Engine 5, Medic 9,  Medic 19, Car 109 and Car 118 responded. Battalion Chief Scott Feather served as Incident Commander.
