20/June/2017 – High Speed MVC – “B” Shift

Incident # 17-4215 – An adult male received non-life threatening injuries in a single car MVC in the 1000 block of Confederate Hwy. (SC Hwy 641) near Gabriel Dr., Tuesday evening 20-June at 17:54. The vehicle was north bound and appeared to have lost control after crossing the railroad tracks. The man was able to self-extricate and was ambulatory when Engine 23 arrived. Crews found a Ford Explorer overturned with heavy damage. The man was treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics, then transported to Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
