24/March/2018 – Tactical Combat Casualty Care Course

Fire-Rescue conducted two additional TCCC Training Courses at Station # 19 that ran from 21-March through 24-March. Lowcountry Emergency Responders learned how tactical operations blend with pre-hospital medicine in a combat environment. The course prepares street Medics for dynamic operations and introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield.  Personnel from Colleton and surrounding counties participated.

The course was taught by Dr. David Greene, Deputy Chief, Marty Stallings, Assistant Chief, Scott Feather, Battalion Chief and Joey Campbell, Battalion Chief.
