23/April/2018 – Car vs Building – “C” Shift

Incident # 18-02884 – A vehicle collided with a building in the 700 block of North Jefferies Blvd Monday evening 23-April at 19:30. The car traveled through the parking lot of the McDonalds restaurant, then ran into the back of the Auto Money Title Loans store. Both the building and the car suffered substantial damage. The two occupants of the car, an adult male and adult female both received non-life threatening traumatic injuries. They were treated at the scene by Firefighter-Paramedics, then transported in Medic 1 to Colleton Medical Center. The business was closed at the time of the accident. Walterboro  Police are investigating the incident.

Rescue 1, Medic 1, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded. Walterboro Fire and Police Depts also responded. Battalion Chief Chris Jones served as Incident Commander.
