10/August/2018 – Car vs Tree – “C” Shift 

Incident # 18-05537 – A single car high speed MVC sent two men to the Trauma Center Friday morning 10-August at 02:55. The car left the roadway and struck a small oak tree, breaking the tree in half. The car suffered heavy damage in the collision. A tractor trailer stopped and the driver began rendering aid to the injured. Fire-Rescue units arrived minutes later, treated the men who suffered traumatic injuries, then transported the two males emergent to the Trauma Center at MUSC. The SC Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

Engine 6. Medic 6, Rescue 1 and Battalion 1 responded. Lt. Brian Drew served as Incident Commander.
