18/August/2018 – Shooting Incident – “C” Shift

Incident # 18-05753 – A adult male was injured in a shooting incident in the 500 block of Rivers Street near the old Chase Lounge Saturday evening 18-August at 21:17. The man was shot twice, once in the shoulder and once in the lower arm. He ran about two blocks to a residence in the 300 block of Lockhart Street where Firefighter-Paramedics found him sitting on the front porch. Crews treated and bandaged his wounds at the scene, prior to transporting him to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital in Fire-Rescue Medic 19. The incident location was in the County, but the victim ran to a residence in the City of Walterboro. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting and was assisted by WPD.

Medic 19, Battalion 1, Car 112 and Car 118 responded. Chief McRoy served as Incident Commander.
