13/October/2018 – ATV Accident with Air Evac – “A” Shift

Incident # 18-07129 – A 23 year old female received multiple traumatic injuries and a head injury following an ATV accident in the 500 block of Nunuville Road Saturday morning 13-October at 04:12. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the Sheriff’s Office, but the female patient came off of the ATV and landed on the pavement. Firefighter-Paramedics found the woman semi-conscious. She was quickly treated at the scene and enroute to Colleton Medical Center in Fire-Rescue Medic 19, who transported her emergent to the helipad at the hospital. She was transferred to the C.A.R.E. Flight crew, then flown to the Trauma Center at Trident Hospital in North Charleston.

Engine 19, Medic 19, Battalion 1 and Car 112 responded.
