12/December/2018 – Bleeding Control Training

Fire-Rescue continued its Bleeding Control (BCON) training in conjunction with the Colleton County School District. Training was conducted at Northside Elementary School on the afternoon of 12-December by Five Firefighter-Paramedics and Denya Dingle, RN.  Over 45 teachers, administrators, and staff participated in the training and learned basic bleeding control techniques.  Colleton County School District Superintendent Dr. Franklin Foster, Ms. Denya Dingle, RN and Mr. Michael Thomas are commended on their proactive approach to this hazard and for preparing Colleton schools to better protect our community's children.
