26/May/2019 – Shooting Incident – “B” Shift

Incident # 19-03601 – An adult male was critically injured after he received an accidental gunshot wound to the torso Sunday morning 26-May in the 8000 block of Lodge Hwy. Firefighter-Paramedics treated him at the scene then transported him to the nearby baseball field to meet with the CARE Flight helicopter. He was transferred to the Flight crew and flown in critical condition to the Trauma Center at MUSC in Charleston. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.  

Medic 7, Medic 18, Battalion 1, Car 112 and CARE Flight Responded. Captain Brian Bishop served as Incident Commander.
